    Dear Wix,

Your best bet is to contact a SisterLock Consultant regarding your question about hydration. Go to the SisterLock website and punch in your zip code. There you will find a consultant closest to where you live. Adding products is taboo for your precious SisterLocks if not cleared by a certified consultant. Btw, drink a ton of water at least half your own body weight in gallons and watch your hair begin to thrive. Good Luck.

All of which were fun & different.

Have locs, need locs will travel.

    Email me.

  19. Brandi says:

Hello, as a woman with small locs I love these styles and will be trying some of them out. Scrolling through the comments, I see a lot of people looking for sister lock consultants and saying they want to get them. As cute and trendy as they are, I’ve heard a lot of women complaining about the cost of installation, the cost of upkeep and the large number of locs they have. Idk if anyone follows Patience Edet (the gorgeous one with burgundy locs) but she doesn’t actually have sisterlocks, just a lot of small locs. I’m also often mistaken for having sisterlocks but mine are bigger with different parting method. I’m only drawing attention to this so that you lovely ladies can look at other alternatives that won’t break the bank. I started my hair with interlocks but after about a year switched to palm rolling. Palm rolling is just less time consuming and I like the look more but anyway, there’s plenty of ways to achieve the full headed hair look with locs, you just have to look.
